I got Blue Mage/Mystic Knight/Beastmaster/Chemist last year, and Atomos was my brick wall. Meanwhile my best friend gets Knight and Berserker and he gets killed by Neo Exdeath.

I had an idea that was basically reverse #regrand: you start by getting a job from the last crystal, then the last two, then last three, etc. The idea is it gives you more of the zany weird jobs and less of the standard FF stuff, even if you have to run around Bare for awhile. Thought I'd share it.

Pledging that I'm gonna do some crazy Fiesta's this year; Who wants to see a Low Level Four Job Fiesta (as in "Single digits the whole game" low) or Solo character Fiestas? How about the whole party being permanently in Frog status, or with starting each battle with Condemn timers? Feel free to make other suggestions, I'm looking forwards to breaking this game for a good cause!

I plan on streaming my gameplay on Twitch as I play as proof of my playstyle as allowed within the challenge. When I can talk to revenantkioku I've got some questions to ask.

I also plan to change Jobs periodically as needed to like Thief etc. to Steal Items as needed or to learn Blue Magic or Control etc. then change back or to another Job to master it. So I plan to have at least $50 or $100 ready on a credit card or in my bank account to use the Job Fair. I don't know exactly yet how much I'll be using it since my brother is getting married in August and I'll be saving $200 towards the trip, so I'll also have to try to finish the game within the months of June and July so it's out of the way.

I am eagerly awaiting this coming year's Fiesta. I am practicing with White Mage/Red Mage/Hunter/Samurai. I used Random.org for each Crystal, so I feel pretty happy that I got so lucky! If I can complete the game then I will at least make sure I use the Job Fair to get those classes again if Random doesn't give me good Jobs.

You can use random.org's list generator to randomize a list, and then take the top job from the list.
http://www.random.org/lists/

So for the Wind Crystal, you'd feed it Knight Monk Thief White Mage Blue Mage Black Mage on different lines, and whatever #1. was would be your first job. You'd repeat with Mystic Knight/Berserker/Red Mage/Summoner/Time Mage for Water, Hunter/Ninja/Bard/Geomancer/Beastmaster for Fire, and Dancer/Dragoon/Samurai/Chemist for Earth. Alternatively, assign each a number and roll a die, rerolling on 6 past Wind, and a 5 as well for Earth.

I missed out on the event this year and was wondering if there was any way to get random jobs for the game while waiting for next year.

I don't think my latest victoryShinryu got recognized, but I was able to complete two runs of the game, both of them defeating Shinryu as well. Just wanted to say many thanks for this fiesta, since participating this Summer in the fiesta also meant starting my learning of Japanese. See you next year!

Well...despite my computer crashing near the beginning of the month, I recovered my data and FFV file at 8 PM today. It's now 9:22, and I finished off Exdeath with a team of Thief/Summoner/Ninja/Dancer, party level 29 (Reina/Lenna at 28). I couldn't survive Almagest, so I just threw Pinwheels until that part died-on the last turn possible due to a Sword Dance. Now THAT was a hard earned victory for my second run.

Ugh...... That was terrible.... But finally managed to beat Exdeath with Knight/Dragoon/Ranger/Time Mage..... Yay for Krile the dragoon, and my first time beating it!

God, No 750 for Omega was a pain in the butt. Shinryu not so much thanks to Fuma Shurikens, but Omega...yargh...Team Thief/Mystic Knight/Ninja/Samurai can do it but grinding a butt ton of levels for it was insane...

Can't wait for next year so I can do another.

Okay, so Omega's finally down! I ground my way up to level 63 and had a team of Dancers with Brawl, Ribbons and Rainbow Dresses. One had the Chicken Knife, the other 3 were unarmed. Everyone had Float status after casting Confuse on Gaelicats on North Mountain. Using all Flame Rings left everyone vulnerable to double Wave Cannons, and using all Hermes Sandals left the party vulnerable to Atomic Ray, eventually, I settled on using two of each, and finally won on my 10th attempt, chugging 23 Elixirs during the fight.

I am sadly unable to complete the run in time due to illness, but I really enjoyed this year run and all the help I've got from this chat. I've never played this game before and I will finish my run with bard, thief, red mage, beastmaster even tho the fiesta is over (so, i wont actually submit it).

Thank you for this event and I hope ill be able to attend next year!
